A big thanks to each of you who volunteered time in March and April to assist with our EarthKeeper's® programs, as well as those who joined us for our joyous Mother's Day Celebration with the Dallas Women's Chorus last Sunday.  With your help, we were able to serve thousands of children and welcome hundreds of visitors to our garden and butterfly house.

They say April showers bring May flowers.  True or not, we have flowers and plants galore at Texas Discovery Gardens in preparation for our semi-annual Butterfly Plant Sale this month!  Those plants don't just sell themselves.  We hope you'll consider joining us this month as a plant sale volunteer.

We also have plans to wrap up the month of May in a big way on Memorial Day weekend.  The Fair Park campus is hosting CityArts.  Texas Discovery Gardens will be open for free to public during scheduled times of the weekend and hosting an activity booth in the children's area outside.  If you have a few hours to share with us, we would love to have you out.
