E-Reader Petting Zoo
Do you have questions about the latest crop of e-readers?  Torn between the Kindle and the Nook?   We've got help!  Representatives from Best Buy will be here on Monday, May 14th from 6:30-8 PM to answer your questions and demo the e-readers.
North Branch Pasta Dinner
Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 19th for the famous Osterhout North Branch Pasta Dinner! The dinner will be held at the North Branch Library, 28 Oliver Street in the Parsons section of Wilkes-Barre from 4-7 PM.  Take-outs will be available after 3 PM.  Tickets are $8, $4 for children 8 and under.  Purchase tickets at any of our Library locations or call 822-4660.

Be sure to check out the Book and Bake Sale too! We'll have yummy homemade baked goods and lots of books for you to purchase.
Movie Night 
Come to the FREE showing of "Note By Note, The Making of the Steinway L1037" on Thursday, May 17th at 6 PM at the Osterhout Free Library, 71 S. Franklin St., Wilkes-Barre.  Note By Note is a feature-length independent documentary that follows the creation of a Steinway concert grand, #L1037.  It explores the relationship between musician and instrument, chronicles the manufacturing process, and investigates what makes each Steinway unique.  FREE popcorn and bottled water.  Presented by Robert M. Sides Family Music Centers.
