Cultivating the Love of Knowledge
| | |
The purpose of a Montessori classroom is to cultivate the child's own natural desire to learn. A truly educated child continues learning long after the hours and years spent in the classroom because s/he is motivated from within by a natural curiosity and love for knowledge.

Greetings!
The holiday season is upon us! What a festive time of year. The holiday music performance is quickly approaching, and our two week break follows immediately after. The Thanksgiving feast for the kindergarten and elementary students was lovely. Thank you to all who made a food contribution! Continue checking the app, Facebook, and twitter for photos of this event and others. |
 | Wreath Sale

The wreath sale was a wonderful success! Thank you to all of the 61 families who participated in our only fundraiser of the year. We were able to raise $4,626 in wreath sales and donations for supplies for our school. We cannot express how important this is to us and how grateful we are to all of you.
THANK YOU! |
 | Holiday Music Program |
The preschool, kindergarten, and elementary children will be performing in the Holiday Music Program on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 7:00PM. The children have all been working very hard on this, their holiday gift to you.
The preschool and kindergarten children will be performing a collection of songs entitled "Christmas Around the World." They have been studying different cultures and the songs that are sung during this holiday season.
The elementary children present "Everywhere, Everywhere, Christmas Tonight." This is the tale of Pablo the reindeer from Mexico and his adventures with Santa around the world on Christmas. These children have also been studying how different cultures celebrate. They will be singing and dancing to many new holiday songs that illustrate, in comedic or touching ways, the cultures of which they "visit." It is sure to be entertaining!
As always, each kindergarten and elementary student will sing a solo. Every family will have two seats, assigned by seniority, for the show. Look for your child's name on the back of the chairs to find your seats. The children are truly looking forward to performing for you!

 | Parent Education Night | |

Due to the extraordinarily busy time of year, there will be no Parent Education Night in December.
Enjoy the holiday season! |
