PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

What a great and exciting week for the SBMC!  First we held our election for the Officer's and Board members for 2012.  Congratulations to Galina Schott our President-Elect for 2012 and our second woman President in our club's 80 year history. Congratulations also to Jepp Walter, Nancy Bennett, Annie Houghton, Tim Howe and Patrick Heatherington who will be our Officer's next year and to Rene Carter, Steve Johnston, Julie Clements and A J Richwine who have been elected to serve on the Board of Governors.

Our Holiday Gala this past weekend; WOW what a party!  If you were there you know what I mean and if you weren't believe me you should be wishing you had been.  Thanks to Patrick Heatherington, Sabrina Ebel and everyone who worked so hard to provide us with a first class event.  Sabrina it was great to see you there with your wheels and we look forward to seeing you again soon at the Wednesday meetings. Patrick put on an exhibition in dancing that well let's just say the likes of which have rarely been seen!

I offer my sincere and humble thanks to Gene Bushor and the Past Presidents for the beautiful picture and inspirational quote regarding leadership. I can't thank you enough for the support all of you have given me this year however I assure you that the great year we are having is due to the entire team of Officer's.

I hope everyone will be at the meeting Wednesday as we have our own Charles McBurney briefing us on the upcoming legislative session.

I look forward to seeing each of you and your guests on Wednesday,

Ken
