PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE | |
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends. I know as a club we got things off to a great start with a fashion show by Sandy Myers and our traditional wine tasting by Tom Whicher. My thanks to both for providing us with a very entertaining meeting Wednesday. Entertainment is the theme for this weeks meeting as well as we have Craig Smith the owner of the Alhambra Dinner Theater as our guest speaker. Craig saved this Jacksonville institution and has some great stories to share regarding his experiences with the Alhambra and some of the actors who have been there recently.
Meet-A-Member, Golf Outing, Holiday Gala, Children's Shopping Spree, Gator Bowl Raffle.....the year is not over yet, we still have some great activities, the details of most may be found below. The SBMC is made up of great members like you and that is why we are so strong with so many activities for all to enjoy. Below you will also see the slate of officers and Board members proposed by the nominating committee and approved by the Board of Governors. This slate will be voted upon at our annual meeting which this year is December 7.

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Car Show held at Hooters on November 19th. We had 39 cars registered, and fun was had by all. In our first year, we also raised over $1,200! We look forward to it being even bigger and better next year.
