The Changing Face of Transportation

The official kick-off to summer is here as marked by the long holiday weekend coming up.  That doesn't mean that KYSITE is going on vacation though - keep an eye out for several activities going on in the next couple of months including the GOLF OUTING on June 6th!

SDITE / GLITE 2012 Joint Annual Mtg

By now, you should have heard a little bit about the2012 Banner Southern District ITE / Great Lakes District ITE Joint Annual Meeting that will be held next April in Lexington.  This is a very important meeting for our Section and we want you to be involved in some capacity whether you want to help plan the meeting or if you simply want to be an attendee.  

Here are some brief facts about the meeting:

Dates: Sunday, April 15 through Wednesday, April 18, 2012

Location: Hilton Downtown Lexington in Lexington, KY

Theme: The Changing Face of Transportation

PDH Potential: At least 12 hours of professional development to be certified through ITE with the potential for AICP professional development credits too!

Great Lakes District ITE States:  Indiana / Michigan / Ohio

Southern District ITE States: Alabama / Georgia / Kentucky / Louisiana / Mississippi / North Carolina / South Carolina / Tennessee / Virginia

GOLF TIME!

Get ready to tee off on June 6th!  If you are not signed up yet, shame on you! The deadline (MAY 30th) is fast approaching so sign up!  You can sign up as either a foursome or as an individual and we will pair you with other awesome golfers so that a good time is had by all!

Also, we have 9 consultant sponsors to date.  Remember, hole sponsorship money goes toward the scholarship -- please consider a consultant sponsorship if you haven't done so already.

Time: 12:00 (Lunch) / 1:00 (Golf)

Location: Juniper Hills in Frankfort, Kentucky

Costs (Golf and Lunch): $40 (a portion goes toward scholarship fund)
