Greetings!
When I started this business 25 years ago in my small apartment in Brentwood, I had no idea that I would be sitting here today writing a note to over 300 clients and even more readers of our Zine, partners and friends.
Things I never dreamed of as a young entrepreneur have happened to me; both good and bad, but the journey is something I would not trade for all the money in the world. Today, I'm surrounded by partners I trust, dedicated staff who care about our services just as much as I do, and loyal clients that I count on the same way they count on me.
It is truly an honor to work with each and every one of you - our faithful clients. It is just as much an honor to work with those around me. Today, it is our staff that makes Afinety great and it's hard to imagine such a dedicated, hard working group of people. From my very first client who is still with us today to the latest additions to the Afinety family, I humbly say, thank you for 25 wonderful years.

- Orange County Association of Legal Administrators Community Challenge Events: The OC-ALA has selected the Blind Children's Learning Center as their focus of their community challenge events this year. To kick things off, a charity "blindfolded" luncheon was held at the Blind Children's Learning Center in Santa Ana on September 30th to raise donations and awareness for this amazing organization. The Community Challenge weekend event will take place on Saturday, October 8th with proceeds going to the Blind Children's Learning Center (www.blindkids.org). Afinety is honored to be participating in the upcoming events for this worthwhile organization on behalf of the OC-ALA.
- Greater Los Angeles Association of Legal Administrators Justice Jog: Afinety will once again participate in the GLA ALA Annual Justice Jog 5K Run/Walk on October 2 in Century City. This is a Community Challenge Weekend event; a challenge for all members of the ALA and their business partners to contribute their time, talent and energy to improve the community. This year, the GLA ALA selected Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) www.casala.org, a national organization that promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and/or neglected children as the focus of their event. - ALA Region 6 Conference & Expo: Afinety will be attending the annual Association of Legal Administrator Region 6 Conference at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas on October 20 - 21. - Walk to End Alzheimer's: The OC SoCalPROS was proud to participate and lend their support for the "Walk to End Alzheimer's" that took place at The District at Tustin on June 18. Our team raised the most money for a team for the event totaling $4,000! Go team!!
- Afinety Seminar Series: Online Marketing for Law Firms! Sheila Okabayashi of Integrated Solution Design presented tips on online marketing during our August seminar series. The presentation included a wide range of information including how to thrive and overcome the specific marketing challenges that law firms face today, trends and best practices.
