It's Electric!

Greetings!

Spring is in the air and a lot more than just the grass is greening! Both A-C Electric and Summerall Electric companies are proud to be a part of the greater energy efficiency movement taking place in Shelby County. They joined as team members with the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce to be part of their sustainability initiatives which help local businesses develop solutions to reduce their carbon footprint and cut utility costs.

Events: Mark you calendars for March 24-26 next week! Learn more about the sustainable building and infrastructure development trends at the Conference on Sustainable Real Estate at the Unviersity of Memphis, Fogelman College of Business. www.ConferenceOnSustainableRealEstate.com

Website update: We prematurely announced last month that the Summerall Electric Company website would go live in March. Let's call that wishful thinking! We are working hard on the site now and expect to go live in the coming weeks. We will announce it soon!

Look for Summerall Electric's ad in the next issue of Suburban Living in the Bartlett/Cordova Appeal - publication date, Sunday, March 27.

As Summerall Electric continues its transition into the next generation, the company is happy to have Marvin Cohen on board as estimator. Marvin, 81, has worked in the local electric industry since the early 1950s. He joined the team at Summerall in January.

A transplant from New York, he began his career as an apprentice, working his way up to master electrician. He owned Hill Electric Company and founded Co-Ben Electric Company with his business partner, Bob Benedetti.  Mr. Cohen has been providing quality electric service to Mid-South businesses and residences for more than 50 years. He remains on the board of the Builder's Exchange.
