Our Book Buying Policies

Want to sell us some of your unwanted books? It's easy! We purchase books, movies, or music for cash but can sometimes double that in store credit to be used toward the purchase of other used books, music or movies. It's a great way to get more value for your treasures. We ask that you please call ahead, especially if you have large quantities of items. We're always interested in buying in these categories: Theology, Philosophy, Literature, Children's, Kentucky, and Local History. The more specific the topic of the book, the better, especially with history books and cookbooks.

New Remainders in this Week
|  We're very excited about our new selection of remainders. According to our buyer, Harvey Venier, "This new shipment is particularly strong in areas of fiction, poetry, literary studies, music books, and film studies." He calls it a "unique and excellent selection" that includes some rare titles like Ashley Kahn's The House that Trane Built: The Story of Impulse Records. We have some select University Press Civil War titles as well. There are around 160 titles to choose from, so come on in and take a look! You'll find them on the display tables throughout the store. There are only a few copies of each title, so hurry in before we run out! |

We had our best Christmas ever in 2011, and we owe much of that to our new location. If you have not been by the new store yet, please stop in! It's about 7 minutes away from the old location, and there are many other great shops close by. Our winter hours are Monday-Saturday 10 am - 6 pm and Thursdays until 8 pm. We can't wait to see you!
