Happy Halloween from A Reader's Corner!
Greetings!

We here at A Reader's Corner have decided to send out a newsletter once a month to tell you more about what is going on at our store. We think this will be a great way to keep you informed about our upcoming events and special offers. In this issue, we want to:
  1. Introduce you to our new associates
  2. Tell you about the history (and possible haunting) of our store
  3. Remind you about our 25% Off Customer Appreciation Day
  4. Update you on Thomas Freese's Book Signing
  5. Notify you about our extended holiday hours
You can find links to each article in the Table of Contents, located in the top right corner of the newsletter. You may also visit our website, blog, facebook page, or join our email list by clicking the links in the bottom right corner.

We hope you have a fun and safe Halloween!

Did you know?
Our building may be haunted...
store-bw

Originally built as the Clifton Market and Saloon in the 1880s, our building was for many years Haeseley's Café and Tavern. Interesting events are said to have taken place in the building. The downstairs tavern apparently functioned as a "speakeasy" during prohibition while "other activities" were housed in the upstairs area. It is rumored that some of these "activities" possibly included shootings, but little is known about who did the firing and who died. Owners Judy and Tim Fout invite you to visit them in this interesting old building. Perhaps you can solve one of the murder mysteries!

You can stop by our store and pick up an autographed copy of Mr. Freese's book or visit his website here. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported this wonderful local author!
