Hello
This month i tell you about the reiki retreat (including some great videos), and about our upcoming Reiki Camp. There is also an article on Advanced Reiki Self Care.
 
Working out the details on the revised Nuts and Bolts of Teaching. Got lots of great feedback at the retreat. Details on that soon.
2010 ICRT Reiki Retreat in New York State Wrapup Imagine 200 Reiki Teachers and practitioners from all over the world, meeting in one place. The Reiki Retreat is an amazing chance to listen to talks from notable Reiki teachers and practitioners. It happens every year near Lake George. This year was the 15th. I have been to 13 of them. The best part is talking to your fellow teachers.. being able to try different tools and techniques.

I did a quick video overview of the place just prior to the retreat.
I also taped a number of Reiki Masters talking about their reiki experiences, here i have included some on Reiki and cancer, Reiki and Teaching Children and prosperity in teaching.

Advanced Reiki Selfcare
At the ICRT reiki retreat i presented on Reiki Selfcare:

Reiki self-treatment is typically covered in Reiki 1, as part of teaching hand positions. Many people find that self-treatment is not as powerful as healing other people. In Reiki 2 and beyond many additional techniques are taught that can add power to your Reiki Healing.  (Techniques with * in front are techniques I (Jessica Miller) developed.)

Empower your space
  • CKR on walls ceiling and floor
  • *Check energy level -inside/outside alphabet, temperature, arm waving
Gassho Meditation-one of Usui's pillars of Reiki
  • Gassho Meditation - prayer position - focusing on fingertips
  • *Gassho Facial- fingertips to jaws, sinus, eyes
Self-Treatment
  • Empower your hands with Reiki symbols
  • *Trash Collection and Negativity Drain - Pre & Post check
  • Hand Positions - *Jess Silly Names - start at different places
