Greetings!

When you talk to members of the staff working at the Hazmat Fusion Center, you will often hear the word excited used. Now there is an elevated level of excitement because the Hazmat Fusion Center staff spent several days moving from other locations within the headquarters of the International Association of Fire Chiefs to the new, dedicated area for the National Hazardous Materials Fusion Center. There really is a "brick and mortar" location for your Hazmat Fusion Center to call home! We hope to have a formal introduction of the facility in mid-September but always welcome visitors. If you find yourself planning to spend some time in the DC/Fairfax, Virginia area, we would be glad to show you around the facility. Please remember that it is a work in progress.
