Stories .... We all have them in one form or another. And we actually believe them !?!?!??
The Reasons... "I Cannot"..."I am not Good Enough", "I need more training", "I am not ready", "I don't have enough time, or Enough money", "What about my kids, my family...".
And what about when you told yourself "I need to wait for the RIGHT TIME", Or "Some-Day maybe" or "If Only ....."
WE ALL HAVE OUR STORIES.
And they make sense, RIGHT? But do they !!!!!
Just underneath that "story" is your Creative Genius wanting to emerge, to express, to take you to new territories, And, to support you fully in your Heart's Calling! In this 6-week Expressive Art workshop, we will take those stories (you know you have them) and transform them Thru Art Making. We will be using a variety of Expressive Art mediums to assist you in re-writing your stories.
There is something about allowing yourself to experience the contraction, the fears, the judgments, the what-evers.... , AND give them a voice thru Art making!! IT CAN BE FUN, and uniquely transforming!
You will have an opportunity to get to know your Creative Genius, give voice to it, and start to own how to live more fully from this place.

Artist's Way with an Expressive ART flair!! (12-week workshop)
This workshop gives you an opportunity to tap into and nurture your Creativity, as you take steps towards manifesting what you would like more of in your life. No Art background or Experience necessary!  In this hands-on, 12-week workshop we utilize the strength and structure inspired by, Julia Cameron's original book, "The Artist's Way." Each week we cover a theme from this book, while using Expressive Art Activities to reflect a deeper understanding of your creative process, and stimulate your sense of new possibilities.  The circle we create in this workshop provides a safe environment to explore, take risks, and experience freedom of expression through a variety of Expressive Art modalities, such as: painting, intuitive collage, sound, poetry, clay work, drawing, movement and much more.  Besides that........... WE HAVE FUN, PLAY, & LAUGH a lot while we GROW !!

What is Playful Art Studio? Playful Art Studio is a safe space where you can come let your hair down, be yourself, and discover how creative you really are!! We believe everyone...YES EVERYONE is creative, regardless of your previous experience or training. Playful Art studio employs Expressive Art modalities. Expressive art is a form of authentic self-expression, it's not a technique that you learn with your mind so that the result will be "art", but more of a joyful process of exploration into your inner self through spontaneous art making. Every human being has the deep urge to express themselves honestly, but we are not often encouraged to be our most unique selves. Expressive art requires no special talent, skill or preparation. Because your natural, original style is already within, you need nothing further to begin. You are creative and whole, now and always.
