Our inaugural workshop this past summer was rated a huge success, exceeding all expectations, by everyone who participated--students, artists in residence, faculty, the community, and staff. 60% of the students from this year have already pre-registered for 2011 and all of the artists in residence and faculty would like to join us again. Our second annual workshop and festival will again be at the Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork, Montana August 28 - September 4, 2011. We will be announcing the workshop details, artists in residence, faculty and more on December 15th. In the meantime following is some preliminary information:

- We are adding three new workshops: singer/songwriter, advanced rock/blues, and advanced jazz
- Nancy Cawdrey will be teaching a watercolor class again for spouses

We hope that your winter is going well. We are having a real La Nina year with two feet of snow already on the ground at our house. It's perfect for skiing, snow shoeing, playing the guitar in front of the fireplace. We hope that you will join us in Bigfork next August. Montana Guitar Workshop
A unique opportunity to learn from and play and spend time with with Lee Ritenour, Scott Tennant and the rest of our artists in residence and faculty (to be announced December 15th.) August 28 - September 4, 2011 at the 4 star Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork, Montana. Spouses will have the opportunity to study watercolor painting with Nancy Dunlop Cawdrey. The workshop is for anyone with a passion for the guitar from highly accomplished to beginners.
