Greetings!

Saturday marked the final packing of the 2011 year.  We shipped over 5,400 boxes this year!  Everyone deserves a pat on the back for the part your played in making that happen.     Our troops are grateful for the effort you put forth for the organization.

Happy Thanksgiving from Operation Support Our Troops-America
(Notice their cots, we hope some of these men got the electric warming throws)Some of our members pass along names to OSOT America, then the person who received the boxes writes back to let them know it was received.   We love it when you share those letters with us, like the one below:

The foundation that you contacted for us, sent out packages to my Marines and they have been slowly trickling in. It is astonishing how much of a morale  boost those packages give my Snipers. I got two of my three teams together and took a photo for you. Wouldn't you know it, as soon as this picture was taken 3 days later I got your package with the surefire banner in it. As soon as I can get any team together I will send another photo with the banner in it. Thank you again and as soon as I can get them in I'll get my third team in a picture for you guys.

I just got my first Christmas present of the season, and what a great surprise it was. It's gratifying and profoundly humbling to be remembered by y'all back home, no matter how small the remembrance, but this was no token gift! My stocking was jam-packed with goodies; I felt like a kid who'd gone trick-or-treating in the rich folks' neighborhood. Nice big candy bars, nuts and cookies, a big box of candy, and all brand-name, at that. Add in a pen and pencil, a good deck of cards, and

best of all, a real first-quality toothbrush - you'd be surprised how hard it is to find a good toothbrush sometimes, as we get lots of generic stuff.

Seriously, though, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Somebody took a lot  of time and thought to put this together, and it means more than I can say.

I'll try to live up to your appreciation.
