Greetings!

This is our last weekend to pack boxes for the troops in 2011.  As you can see from the picture below, our stockings are already in the hands of our troops and some of them just can't wait for Christmas.  Some have written they are saving theirs for Christmas.  Thanks to all of you, their holidays are a light brighter.   This soldier's will also be a little warmer--notice the electric warming throw in the picture!

Hello from Baghdad!  I am a doctor deployed with the 520th Area Support Medical Company. We run a clinic in Iraq for sick and injured soldiers.

I received a generous care package from your group--what a wonderful surprise!  The box was filled with so much love and I am very appreciative.   My favorite was a brand new book and all the sweet letters & cards from citizens and students. I will cherish them and keep them forever.

It is hard being away from family and home, however worth it to serve our great nation.  Organizations like yours are exemplifying service with all you do for deployed soldiers.   THANK YOU!

Sincerely, CPT Malia
