I want to thank you for taking your time to support all military troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait and for sending us these wonderful care packages. I have attached a photo of myself receiving your care packages. Thanks again and have a wonderful day.

First off, I would like to thank you for taking time out of your day to send me and my soldiers a box. My name is SGT Martin and I have served in the Army for 11 years now. This is my 4th deployment since Sept 11, 2001. I was born and raised in Southern California and decided when I was 20 years old to join the Army. So I did and here I am 11 years later. I love what I do because it offers me a chance to give back to all who fought before me. I am very privileged to be an American soldier and do what I do year after year because of people like you and organizations like yours. I arrived here in Afghanistan in Sept 2011 and will be leaving God willing in Sept 2012. I am stationed at Ft Hood, TX with the 96th Trans Co. I am a heavy vehicle operator and drive the Army's biggest truck called a "HET". I mainly deliver tanks or any other track vehicle. I spend most of my nights on convoys and away from my home camp so this packing is going to be used with sheer joy.
The box arrived in perfect condition and the best thing in it had to be the wipes. You see when I'm on week long missions, we get no showers, so wipes have become my best friend! I will also really enjoy all the snacks as will all of my soldiers.
Today was a hard day and when they told me I had mail and then I seen the box, all I could do was SMILE :) IT's a great feeling to know there is still Americans out there who remember we are still a nation at war and will be until everyone comes home. Once again, thank you for your prayers, your support and your love, not just for us soldiers, but for our country. I know today was a better day because you made it that way!
God Bless,
SGT Martin
