Many of the letters and emails we receive from the troops ask us how they can thank the children for the letters included in our packages.   The first letter below mentions all of the people who corresponded with him.   We suggest to schools that they have the students write on the school's letterhead and include a teachers email address.   While many of our troops just don't have the time to write back, some really do try to get a return letter to the students.  If they can at least reach the school, they stand a better chance of finding "Johnny in second grade" than OSOT America does.

I received your package in excellent condition and all the items are very useful to me and my fellow soldiers here in Afghanistan. I would like to thank all of you for your support and contribution to us all! Your care is greatly appreciated!

 

For the cards written by the children, I would like to thank:

 Thank you so very much for the care package I received!   It was wonderful!  I am so thankful for all of the great items and the letters from the children.  It really brightened my day.  The socks, wet wipes and reading material are great.  All of the good snacks and treats are things easily taken for granted when I'm in the states, but mean so much when far away from home.  It is nice to know someone cares enough to take the time to send me such a nice package!   Once again, thank you and God bless you and Operation Support Our Troops America.
