Operation Support Our Troops-America
Letter of the Week:  June 13, 2011
Quick Links
Greetings!

It is less than five weeks until ROCKIN for the Troops 2011.  Our troops are counting on us for needed supplies as the temperatures there soar into the 110-130 range.   Please ask everyone that you know to buy a ticket to ROCKIN.   Tell them if they cannot attend, they will be paying the postage on one box going to someone serving in harms way.   The office is open on Tuesday, June 14 from 2-7 to pick up concert and raffle tickets.

If anyone tells you that they don't want a ticket, please read the last letter below to them.  It clearly demonstrates that our troops want us to continue our mission to support them.

Just wanted to say thanks again for sending out the care package.  You folks seem to have this down to a science and certainly know what we like, need and want.  Great job, keep up the good work.

Our unit is rotating back in  mid July, but this will continue to be a good address for the foreseeable future as other units rotate in under the same banner.

Take care and God Bless you outstanding efforts.

I just want to say thank you for all that everyone has done for me and all the deployed military here in the middle east.  Your thoughtfulness and kind gestures makes us feel good when we see a package arrive with our names on it.  This is without even opening the box to see what's inside.  I have seen many times where a person receives their package and a big smile is on their face.   Being here is not all that great, but what is great is that we have the support of those back home and this makes it better because the morale is high.

Again, I just wanted to say "Thank you ALL" and keep on doing what you do "bringing smiles to faces".

I will be leaving here soon to be with my family but please accept the enclosed money order, a little something to you from me to help it whatever way it can.

THANK YOU!  God Bless!
