Hi All,
Welcome to the first edition of the My Buddy Butch Chronicle! It's been a long time coming and we're glad to be bringing it to you finally. We will have information from our shows to help you take great care of your pet, feature articles, featured rescue orgs, classifieds, and timely tips from Me and Butch. By request, we will have space available for sponsors and will also be announcing our appearance schedule as well as other fun happenings around the USA and Canada. As always, we do not wish to send unwanted email to anyone, and your email address was in our mail box. So after this first email we will only be adding people who sign up for the "Chronicle." Check out the MBB radio show this week for Dr. Nancy Kay author of "Speaking For Spot" who joined us to discuss her experience with dogs purchased from Puppy Mills. Also her little dog Nellie was chosen to play "Toto" in a Wizard of Oz production! Author Connie Gotsch stopped by to talk about her novel "Belle's Star" which is a great read for kids and adults alike. This book helps teach kids how to deal with abuse. Stacy Thomas Director of PR for "Chicago Canine Rescue" was our Rescue of The Week. Callie Novak of Dynamite Pet Products joined us to talk about their products and some winter care tips for your dog! Upcoming 411
I'll be attending the Westminster Dog Show in New York City on February 15-16th. Dr. Patrick Mahaney will be joining me as well as Record Producer and good friend Joe Lagani. We'll be roaming the benching area interviewing breeders and owners for our Westminster special on Feb18th. I'll be dedicating time on next week's show for the AKC/Eukanuba National Chamionship that I covered in Long Beach, CA in December and it will be airing on Animal Planet and Discovery Channel so tune in for dates and times! We'll be talking with David Frei on the prep they are doing for Westminster beginning in February.
