Year to date initial unemployment claims are down 10% from last year, but the year to date total number of regular weekly claims are 1.6% higher than one year ago.

WIA Report
As of 2/26/10, NCWWDB has 324 Youth, 219 Adults, and 978 Dislocated Workers enrolled in WIA Title 1- funded programs.
Of the above numbers, there have been 226 Youth, 82 Adults, and 183 Dislocated Workers served by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds.
