Traveling the Northstar Corridor on Fridays is about to get even easier for commuters. Beginning Friday, October 29, the Northstar Link commuter coach bus will provide a midday trip between St. Cloud and Minneapolis with seven potential stops. This service allows you to ride the Northstar train to work on Friday morning and to leave work early by riding the Northstar Link home.

Northstar Link will leave the St. Cloud Metro Bus Transit Center at 10:15 a.m. on Fridays and will arrive in downtown Minneapolis at 12:45 p.m. Please consult the Northstar Train schedule to find train departure times for your return trip home on Friday afternoons/evenings.

If you're a Northstar train commuter and you want to shorten your work week, you can depart on the Link bus from Minneapolis at 1 p.m. Fridays. The bus will make requested stops only at the Northstar Commuter Rail station locations and St. Cloud State University, returning to the St. Cloud Metro Bus Transit Center by 3:30 p.m.

Commuters who want to be picked up at a Northstar station other than downtown Minneapolis should call ahead to 877.LINK.010 to make a reservation. You can call 24 hours in advance and up to 12:30 p.m. on Fridays.

Riding Northstar Link on Fabulous Fridays is an affordable option, too, costing $3 - $5 each way.
