Shag Extravaganza
Is there any cultural phenomenon that speaks of South Carolina like shagging? Harvest Hope Food Bank is honored to serve as the official charity benefiting from this weekend's Capital City Shag Club Shag Extravaganza held at the Medallion Center on Garner's Ferry Road. While the Palmetto State's most enthusiastic hoofers show their stuff during the two-day dance event, they will also collect donations of money and food for Harvest Hope to help meet the incredible hunger needs we are experiencing. The event will begin on Friday, 3/26 at 6:00 pm and the dancing doesn't stop until 1:00 am. The fun starts up again on Saturday, 3/27 at 10:30 am and lasts until 1:00 am. For more information about the Capital City Shag Extravaganza visit the Capital City Shag Club website at www.capitalcityshagclub.com. |
