Major Wallace Cole Hogan, Jr. In the Spirit of Remembrance

of September 11. 2001 

 

The Historic Riverside Cemetery Conservancy requests the pleasure of your company at a Commemoration in Honor of Major Wallace Cole Hogan, Jr.  and all  fallen heroes of 9/11 at 9:00 A.M. on Sunday September 11, 2011at Riverside Cemetery, 1301 Riverside Drive.

 

The 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, the 352nd Combat Sustainment Battalion, and the 377th Quartermaster Company will provide colors and render military honors during the ceremony. Maj. Gen. Robert C. Hughes, Jr. (Ret.) will make honorary remarks and join

Brig. Gen. Larry Dudney in a wreath laying ceremony. Prayers for global solidarity and unity as well as for healing for Major Hogan's family and the community will be offered by the following:

 

Reverend Marcus Tripp, Pastor of Vineville United Methodist Church

Father Dawid Kwiatkowski, St. Joseph Catholic Church  

Imam Adam Fofana, Islamic Center of Middle Georgia

 Rabbi Lawrence Schlesinger, Temple Beth-Israel

 

The service is open to the public. No reservations required. 

 

In the event of rain, the service will move inside the Macon Public Mausoleum.
