Spirits in October has brought to life in the past at Fall for the Arts at The Grand Opera House!

heavyweight boxer William Lawrence "Young" Stribling, Jr., incendiary socialite and
landscape architect Gladys Schofield, and Sophia Lewis, beloved nanny who lived
through the eras of slavery, Reconstruction, World War II and the Roaring
Twenties.
Gladys Schofield  | Join The Grand Opera House, the Conservancy, and other members of the Macon Arts Alliance for a
day of family fun this Saturday, August 28th, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. FREE
ADMISSION
Sophia Lewis  | Learn about events for the upcoming year, as many organizations will have
information for their season. Throughout the day, there will be family
activities, drawings for free tickets to upcoming shows and live performances
and free lessons by many of the organizations participating. Backstage tours of
the historic Grand Opera House will also be available during the day.
