Remember when school went back this year there were a few education experts delivering a little smack to parents via the media?
It was a sternly worded reminder that it wasn't appropriate to be taking family holidays during school term.
Of course, families were only trying to claim some quality time AND save dollars by booking accommodation during an off-peak time.
Well here at Abbey Beach we like to try and keep EVERYONE happy...even the education experts.
School holiday periods (as you could imagine) usually attract a peak season rate because of high demand.
But this time, the manager has instead applied a special low season rate to the third week of the April school holidays - that is Sunday, April 22 until Wednesday, April 25.
Yep! That's ANZAC DAY! A nicely-timed public holiday.
The children return to school on Thursday, April 26 but if you felt like being naughty, you could always book your family the entire week off at our special low season rate.
And don't forget, as usual, YOU have access to our special VIP-ONLY deal. Scroll down for the secret logins.
Here's some things you might like to do with the kids before this glorious weather starts to turn cool...
COUNTRY LIFE FARM Let the kids hand feed the friendly farm animals - Rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, sheep, geese, ducks, donkeys, ponies, cows, llama and a curious alpaca! Plus there's Giant bouncy castles, huge inflatable slide, indoor adventure playground, barbecue area, boat rides, dodgem cars, merry-go-round, tots play area, tea and coffee. It's at 1694 Caves Road, Dunsborough.
MEELUP BEACH A tiny sheltered bay near Dunsborough, Meelup's serene clear water and picturesque beach is framed by beautiful native trees, fantastic shaded picnic facilities and change-rooms plus a scenic coastal track. And if that wasn't enough, nearby are the equally beautiful bays of Castle Rock, Eagle Bay and Point Piquet. |
