Register Now

Registration is now open for the conference, Finger Lakes Trails and Greenways: Connecting communities, promoting health, and strengthening local economies, to be held Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Cornell University in Ithaca.  The event is organized by Parks & Trails New York and the Finger Lakes Land Trust.

A program, including field workshops, a networking reception at the new Nevin Welcome Center at Cornell Plantations, keynotes by nationally recognized trail advocates, and panel discussions, will offer multiple opportunities for local government and tourism officials; business, health care, and trail professionals; trail users; and grassroots activists and organizations to share their experiences and learn from recognized leaders in the field.

The conference is appropriate for meeting state training requirements for local planning and zoning boards, but it is advisable to check with local officials to confirm.

Trail Groups:  There will be a limited amount of table and easel space to showcase your efforts. For more information, email Parks & Trails New York or call 518-434-1583.
