Dear Friend of Parks and Trails,
Can we find our New York roots this summer?
Yes! They're as close as the nearest park or trail.
Our parks and trails are the places where every New Yorker can experience nature in all its glory -- protected for all of us by generations of public-spirited citizens like you.
For some recent examples of New Yorkers working together for the public good, check out PTNY's latest Annual Report. It includes stories about parks and trails activities from the Bronx to Columbia County, from the Hudson Valley to the North Country, along the Erie Canalway Trail, and out to western New York.
Please DONATE NOW to help us keep those places and that spirit alive.
We can't do it without you. With budget cuts threatening to drastically curtail public access to green space, Parks & Trails New York is facing some of the greatest challenges in more than 25 years.
We helped keep more than 90 state parks open last summer and won a state commitment to keep parks open this year too.
And we're fighting to Close the Gaps in the Erie Canalway Trail, one of the most beautiful and historic trails in the country. As a result of years of advocacy it's three-quarters complete -- now is the time to get it done!
Your financial support is crucial to our continuing success. Please DONATE NOW .
Thank you and enjoy the rest of summer.
