Greetings!
November has been a busy month for me. After weeks of non-stop work and commitments, I'm leaving for California to spend a long weekend at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm for a bhakti yoga retreat, with the famous kirtan singer, Jai Uttal. Bhakti yoga is one of six major branches of yoga, representing the path of self-transcending love or complete devotion to God or the divine. Chanting/singing sacred Sanskrit mantras form a substantial part of bhakti yoga, and is a part of my everyday life! Bhakti Yoga is the most direct method to experience the divine, and it feels SO good. I'm totally looking forward to deepening my bhakti practice during this retreat and returning home enlightened, inspired, and refreshed for Thanksgiving!
I appreciate being able to share my newsletter with you. Feel free to pass this along to anyone you feel may be interested. Wishing you health & happiness!

Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all the wonderful blessings you have in your life, and celebrate with those who you love the most. Be sure to keep a light attitude during this busy time of year and LAUGH a lot. Try not to worry about counting calories or what you should/shouldn't be eating. Enjoy the holiday by pacing yourself, eating small portions, savoring each bite, all while enjoying the company of those around you.
