Renewable Energy Incentives and Rebates
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
New Hampshire is finalizing forms for the state rebate program for Solar or Wind generated electricity. Information, questions and answers and a draft application form can be found here: NH Renewable Energy Rebate Program. For Solar PV systems the rebate is $3.00/Watt up to $6,000. This rebate program does not include solar hot water systems or other renewable energy -- we're hoping these others will be addressed after this rebate gets finalized. Vermont's rebate program does include solar hot water and microhydro as well as solar and wind generated electricity. Details can be found here: VT Small Scale Renewable Energy Rebate Program. For Solar PV systems the rebate is $1.75/Watt up to $8,750. Info on the Federal 30% tax credit (available to everyone) for installing renewable energy can be found here: Residential Renewable Tax Credit. There are many other programs that might apply to you.
