A New Year, A New Energy
We start this new year and this new decade with an air of
excitement and promise not seen in quite some time.
With our new
board in place we have, as a team, put together ideas that can
take our association to a whole new level this year! These ideas include hiring a new, full-time Director of Development, an overhaul to the look and feel of our website, and the creation of a new
business event that will take our annual gala and expand it with a
business conference and expo.
We'll also be sending out a
survey to members and potential members, so that you all can tell us what we've
done right, where we can improve, and how you would like to see the LAGLCC grow
to best serve your business needs in 2010!

Greetings!
Welcome to the new look and feel of the LAGLCC Newsletter. In addition to features you're accustomed to like "Events at a Glance", each issue now includes a message from one of our board members. Appropriately, this issue's message is from our new Board President, Matt Skallerud.
Whenever possible, we're including links to additional information about topics covered and events listed here. Plus, at the end of this issue you'll find a new feature we've made available for our members to reach other members directly. We're providing this new opportunity to help your business grow.
The board is always looking for new ways to actively engage our membership, serve you better and attract new members of diverse backgrounds. If you
have suggestions for ways you believe we can serve you and our
community better, or if you'd like to volunteer for one of our events
or committees, please email: info@laglcc.org To keep up with everything we provide and timely updates, please visit us at:
