Annual Membership Meeting
When: Thursday, November 19th Time: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm Where: The Village at Ed Gould Plaza 1125 N. McCadden Place Los Angeles, CA 90038 ~Free Parking across the street~ All current & paid members of the LAGLCC will have the opportunity to vote for the 2010 Board of Directors at the upcoming Membership Meeting. The Board of Directors is the heart of our organization and is crucial to the growth, culture and value the Chamber brings to our members and the LGBT community.
This is your opportunity to meet the existing Board, the candidates we are considering and participate in the election process.

Women's Professional Luncheon

The Professional Women's Council mission is to foster and encourage the professional development of it's members in a form that empowers and connects dynamic leaders, executives and entrepreneurial women by providing networking opportunities, education and social functions.
Join us on Thursday, November 19th for an inspiring lunch with the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. The new format was introduced at last month's event, offering you the opportunity to make productive connections with a powerful network of women while sharing information about your business.
This month we are building on that momentum with a speaker who is all about public speaking. Jordana Tiger is the President and Owner of Making Speaking Easy, a company specializing in coaching and training others to give compelling, dynamic, and powerful presentations along with showing you how to connect with and engage your audience. She will assist us with developing our 30-second Elevator Pitch which will be helpful in any networking situation. Date: Thursday, November 19 Time: 11:45 - 1:00 pm Where: Sur Restaurant 606 N. Our Social Media Marketing workshop covers both the basics, starting with Facebook, as well as more advanced social network marketing concepts including how to put Web 2.0 tools (blogs, photos and videos) to work for you on Twitter, LinkedIn, FriendFeed, Facebook and more.
