The 30th Anniversary Awards Gala takes place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel on Sunday, October 4th. Tickets will soon be available on The Chamber website (www.laglcc.org). Awards will be granted to honorees in several categories. Two of the honorees will be selected by the Chamber community as a whole. The following have been nominated by the Gala Committee and members of the Board of Directors.
The Community Achievement Award is intended to recognize community organizations that have exhibited outstanding leadership by their effectiveness this year, or have been under-recognized for past work. The nominees do not have to be a member of the Chamber. Please vote BY CLICKING HERE for ONE of the following, or reply with a choice of your own:

Equality California Leading advocate for marriage equality in the State of California.
Lesbian & Gay Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Their mission is to provide a strong leadership presence of and for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered persons in the legal profession and in the community at large. Liberty Hill Foundation Partners with innovative and effective Los Angeles grassroots organizations to combat poverty and injustice and to help transform the "City of Angels" into a place that promises safety, equality and opportunity for all who live here. Training the next generation of LBGT leaders.
Los Angeles Women's Theater Project Designed to increase opportunities for women in the performing arts, as well as providing educational opportunities and performances that represent women on a broader scale. The Business of the Year Award is intended to recognize a member of the Chamber who has stood out, head above shoulders, in their contributions to the Chamber; OR a member who has distinguished themselves in their field, and needs to be recognized for such. Open Board of Directors Position
The
LAGLCC has an open Board of Directors position available as chair of our Corporate Partnership Committee.
We are
seeking leaders who posses a take-charge attitude, who are active
chamber members and who've been instrumental in promoting not only their
own business, but in making a difference in the LGBT business
community.
The
role we are looking for is the Chair of the Corporate Partnership Committee.
If have experience facilitating sponsorship with corporations within a non-profit organization we would like to hear from you.
