What is an RFID Chip?
rfidThe Radio Frequency Identification Chip is our high-tech companion to our world-famous bar code. It helps identify your garment at our plant which will improve the way we take care of and track your garments! 
Where is it?
About the size of a dime, this chip is placed in the waist-band of pants and the tails of shirts.  The chip is applied to each garment with a heavy duty sewn in pouch. 
When will my garments get chipped?
These chips will be applied over the next several months as garments are turned in for routine cleaning.   
Is it Safe?
The chip is harmless. RFID uses the same technology as credit cards. No frequency is emitted from the chip until it is placed in front of a power-supplying antenna. 
What is in it for you? 
You get the best of both worlds.  The Bar Code will always be there for you to easily identify each garment.  The chip will take our service to the highest level ever!
