Wisconsin Governor, Jim Doyle signed a "collaborative trade agreement" with Shaanxi Governor, Zhao Zhengyong, during a weeklong trade mission to China. Wisconsin is excited to extend cooperation and exchange with the Shaanxi province.
RCI FirstPathway Partners, Chairman and CEO, Bob Kraft also traveled to Xi'an, Shaanxi's capital city, last week to encourage cooperation with the province.
On Thursday October 7, 2010 Bob Kraft attended The China Initiative Leadership Board Annual Meeting at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where Kraft sits on the Advisory Board. The event also included a luncheon with UWM students and a public event titled "Wisconsin-China Water Collaborations: Past, Present and Future."
The Wisconsin China Initiative is composed of University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty, alumni, and leaders in business and government who recognize the importance of China to the economic and political future of Wisconsin and the United States. It aims to create new partnerships between Chinese higher education institutions and UW-Madison, while continuing to develop plans for strategic engagements between China and the State of Wisconsin.
Last month Bob Kraft conducted seminars across China giving potential and newly subscribed clients an opportunity to personally meet the Chairman and CEO of RCI FirstPathway Partners. Kraft was accompanied by Marketing Manager Paul LI (李永平）of the Beijing branch office. This seminar series included stops in Qing Huang Dao, Kunming, Qingdao, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Nantong, Changzhou, Wuxi, Beijing, Xian, and more. Thank you to all those who attended.
