New Life in The Brewery
The former Pabst site, home of The Brewery development welcomed the opening of a new gift shop and an 880-vehicle parking ramp. The site has already welcomed several residential and commercial tenants/develpments.

After 9 months of construction the centrally located, $16.5 million, eight level parking ramp welcomed guests earlier this month. The parking structure is located at the corner of North Ninth Street and West Juneau Avenue and services multiple tenants and customers of The Brewery.

On Saturday December 19th The Best Place Vintage Gift Shop held its grand opening. Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery is named after the original founder, Jacob Best, Sr.  The store features merchandise recovered from the former Pabst Brewery and an authentic look.

The Brewery has many prospective EB5 investment opportunities from sustainable urban development to education.

Aloft Hotel Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Over 100 invited guests gathered to mark the addition of the Aloft Hotel to Milwaukee's river walk, during a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, December 17th 2009. Distinguished speakers included  Department of City Development Commissioner  Rocky Marcoux, Alderman Nik Kovac, Antonio Riley of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority and Aloft officials.

The Aloft Hotel- Milwaukee is a project in RCI FirstPathway Partners (RCIFPP) EB5 fund portfolio. "The Aloft project has the perfect combination of investors, underwriters and management, combined with city, county, state and federal government financial support. It creates a big win for the City of Milwaukee." Commented Bob Kraft CEO of RCI FirstPathway Partners.

The Grand Opening is to be held in January of 2010.

City Purchases Tower Automotive Site
The City of Milwaukee Redevelopment Authority recently finalized the purchase of the $3.5 million, former A.O. Smith/Tower Automotive manufacturing complex. The vacant complex is to undergo environmental remediation, selective building demolition and installation of infrastructure, transforming it into a modern business park. The total cost of the project is estimated at $35.4 million with a $15 million tax incremental financing district and $10 million committed from the city's capital budget.

With one of the city's main project goals being job creation, this could present opportunities for the RCIFPP investment fund. "Our goal is to design the Century City business park as an economic anchor in the 30th Street Industrial Corridor, returning jobs and opportunity to Milwaukee's central city," -Mayor Tom Barrett.
