Asian Studies
in Wisconsin
Local college, Averno is stepping-up with more Asian studies programs. Averno's new minors include Asian Studies, Chinese Language and Chinese Culture. They have strengthened the program with the recent addition of Dr. Glenn Hsu, an economist specializing in East Asia.

Many other area universities such a Marquette etc. also offer similar programs.

The addition and popularity of these new programs certainly reflects Milwaukee's interest in welcoming long-term relationships with Asian companies.
