Pelican Institute to Host Heath Care Policy Luncheon
Cato Institute scholars headline Plimsoll Club event

Attendees will get two Cato Institute scholars for the
price of one at Thursday's health care policy event
hosted by the Pelican Institute for Public Policy.
Michael D. Tanner, a Senior Fellow at Cato, will join
Director of Health Policy Studies Michael F. Cannon to
discuss the health care bills that have passed the House
and Senate.
Cannon and Tanner will provide an update on the bills
and describe the implications of the proposed reforms.
In addition, they will discuss whether an "individual
mandate" to purchase insurance is unconstitutional. And
they will describe state-level reforms that could be
implemented in Louisiana.
