A high energy crowd of about 150 attended our March 22 event-- The
Landscape: California Women in Public Office: The History, the Real
Dirt, the Practicalities, and the Successes.
If you missed it, you can watch the program on UCSD-TV on Monday, April
6 at 8:30 PM. After the initial showing, it should be available on the
UCSD-TV web site: http://www.ucsd.tv

Our next program will be on Sunday, June 28 at 1:30 PM, and our featured speaker is Laura Liswood, co-founder of The White House Project and Secretary General of the Council on Women World Leaders. Laura will talk about the challenges faced by women in politics
and business and offer strategies that women can use to overcome them.
Laura will be at a special brunch before the program for members who
have contributed at least $500 since October.
