This article concerns the fate of the Estate Tax in 2010 and beyond. As you probably know, it is currently slated to go away entirely for that one year.
Instead, it looks like the Democrats will be pressing for it to remain at the level it's at right now - a tax of 45% applied to estate assets that exceed $3.5 million per person or $7 million per couple (assuming that couple has a properly drafted A B Trust arrangement).
