Easter Sunday Bombs - emergency prayer update 4th April 2010
Dear Friends,
This morning there have been several nearby bombings. The explosions have been huge. The plastic windows that we fitted into St. George's after the October blasts have been blown out and where I live has also been damaged.

This morning some of my people ran in here crying, and I do not know if people will even be able to get to church today. Things are very bad.

But we know that the Lord is still here, His Spirit is with us, and we know for sure our Lord has been raised from the dead. Please pray for us - we need it.

In one moment of respite and reflection, the staff are all laughing at me because I only managed one bite of my Cadbury Creme Egg before the explosions started.

Blessings from the bomb-torn city,

Andrew White

Verse of the Week
Hebrews 12v2
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
