See How I Spent My Summer
See the amazing, wacky and fun videos created in the animation, digital field and studio classes for kids this past summer. Access Tucson Community Media has been offering kids summer media production classes for the past 17 years.
This summer Access Tucson also participated in a program called CreateIT - Think IT. Make IT. Do IT. through the Pima County Library. CreateIT provides new technology and media classes to teens for free.
During the CreateIT class, 10 teens researched and produced a talk show featuring Tucson's Jewish History Museum. Two teen hosts interview the Executive Director of the museum, Eileen Warshaw about a very special torah recently acquired by the museum. Ms. Warshaw shares the fascinating journey of how this torah from the 1600's survived the 1938 Crystal Night (Kristallnacht) in Berlin to arrived in Tucson in the 1970's. Watch these two shows back to back during our youth block on Access Tucson channel Cox 20 / Comcast 74.
