Amy's Coming to Town: October 13th
Mark your calendars! KXCI 91.3 FM Community Radio and Access Tucson Community Media are hosting Amy Goodman's tour stop in Tucson. Details about her Tucson visit are still in progress but will be forthcoming soon.
Democracy Now! is on the road for a 2-month, 100-city tour, starting with the Republican National Convention in Tampa and the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, running up to Election Day, holding public events to help raise critical funds for the public broadcasters that carry Democracy Now!. The tour route covers many of the electoral swing states, going beyond the mainstream media's obsessive focus on the latest poll numbers and candidate gaffes, to see on the ground how people are organizing, the impacts of restrictive voter ID laws that are making it harder to vote, and how the massive influx of campaign cash following the Citizens United decision is changing how our democracy works.
Hear Democracy Now! on KXCI 91.3 FM weekdays at noon and see it on Access Tucson channel 20 (Cox) / 74 (Comcast) weekdays at 5pm.

Access Tucson is phasing out Final Cut Express in the coming month or two. We will work with you on completing any current projects and with the move over to Final Cut Pro X.
Unfortunately, Final Cut Express will no longer be supported by Apple and it will not work on the newer computers. We will keep 2 of the old stations until everyone can make it over. Thanks and please let us know how we can help make this transition as painless as possible!
As you may know, we also have new HD cameras that are going to make your coming projects look fabulous!

Online Auction Coming Soon
Access Tucson will be hosting our annual online auction fundraiser in November. We raised more than $4000 through the auction last year. And, of course, this year we want to make it bigger and better.
We are gathering and looking for donations now. Do you have an item or service that you would like to donate to benefit Access Tucson Community Media?
Please email Vikki Dempsey about your items, services or ideas for the auction.
