Tucson Rules!
Access Tucson would like to thank our generous underwriters who sponsored the December 15, 2010, Access Tucson telethon, Where Tucson's on TV!-Celebrating Community Media. You started the ball rolling and gave us faith that the community would support and contribute to our cause. Local restaurants stepped up to provide sustenance to keep all of our volunteers including the TV crew, talent and phone bankers going throughout the night.
A tremendous amount of appreciation goes out to all the individuals and businesses who donated items to our online auction. The auction continues through the holidays so there is still time to bid on some really fantastic services, unique experiences or rare finds.
And, of course, we can not forget all the viewers who called in during the telethon to wish us well and make a contribution. At the end of the night, close to $3000 was donated.
All of these contributions ensure Access Tucson's goal to protect and increase freedom of expression, diversity of ideas and communication through public access television and community media.
The list below represents our growing recognition among local businesses and our continued partnerships with Tucson's non-profit sector. Please stop by their establishments and offices to say thank you for their support of community media. thank you underwriters
