We will show the viewers the many faces of Tucson and the power of local, independent media as a valuable community resource," says Access Tucson's Executive Director, Lisa Horner. "We're inviting all of Tucson to tune in on December 15th, because Access Tucson really does bring Tucson into our living rooms. It will be 3 ½ hours of 'totally Tucson.'"

"We're also very fortunate to have well-known actor and community activist, Miguel Ortega and Jared McKinley of Powhaus Productions as emcees for the telethon," says Access Tucson Board President Bob Kovitz. "We're excited about this chance to show folks how much we've been a part of their lives for the past quarter century and that the future of Access Tucson is all about community and connectivity."

The telethon provides viewers and Access Tucson supporters the opportunity to donate to the continued operation of Access Tucson as well as the future of an innovative community media center.
