In this section, I intend to outline some of the research that explains the end-times predictions by Christians, Muslims, Jews, Masons, and ancient cultures (Aztecs and Mayans).
In contrast to past generations, the number of Biblical prophecies concerning the end-times has nearly all been completed. As many readers probably already know, the key elements include the return of the Jewish people to Jerusalem and Israel after nearly 2000 years in exile. Additional key technological (ability for a chip or mark, rampant communications), climatological (dramatic increase in earthquakes, etc), and political (movements towards a one-world government, economy, etc) have unfolded.
TWO of the remaining prophecies which have NOT occurred include a destruction of Damascus (presumably by Israel) and one final attack on Israel by all surrounding forces which is supernaturally repelled.
The events this past month seem to represent a quickening of pace for Middle East affairs.
1. The anticipation of armed conflict between Syria and Israel has reached a peak in the past two weeks. News reports from both sides indicate a higher tension than ever before with a massive build-up of missles in Lebanon supplied by Syria. Anticipated surface to air defense systems has also been cited as a reason for early conflict. Comments from Israeli defense ministers would seem to indicate fairly imminent war.
2. The situation in Iran continues to worsen. Two weeks ago, the Iranian president indicated that on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution (February 11), Iran would shock the western world in some dramatic way. Yesterday, the ayatollah also announced that the Iranian Republic would "stun" the "arrogant" western powers on Feb 11.
Iranian News Link I had intended to present a methodical, and slow report on this topic. However, the news events are unfolding at a rapid pace and warranted this summary.
I am certainly not fearful for the unfolding of biblical prophecy. I am hopeful that the knowledge of these events is helpful in terms of spiritual and emotional preparation for things that may occur. I will attempt to cover some incredible material found in a new book that I will summarize next month.
