The doctors of WLS have decided to offer care to patients that have a financial hardship. If one of our patients has lost a job or is in a tough position without insurance, we are willing to continue regular followup at no cost. It is more important that we continue to see you and help you on your successful journey. If you fall into this situation, just visit with Ann during your appointment.

| Eschatology |
This is a new section devoted to the amazing changes that one can see related to end-times prophetic events. The predictions related to the Mayan Calendar, Bible prophecy, Solar activity, Masonic symbols, and other methods, seem to be unfolding on a monthly basis.
This past summer, Dr. Kuhn gave a talk about this topic and received nervous applause.
Next month, he will provide a summary list of events from that month which appear to fall in line with various predictions. It is hoped that this information would provide the stimulus to be thankful, happy, and prepared. In a strange way, this is just one more way that we strive to provide support and encouragement to our patients. |

ROAD TRIP to Houston, TX January 22-23

The State-wide Texas Association of Bariatric Surgeons is having an annual meeting January 22-23, 2010. This is a great opportunity to hear topics related to Behavioral modification, exercise, plastic surgery, nutrition. It is a joint meeting that bariatric surgeons AND their patients can all attend for the latest in Bariatric medicine.
Dr. Kuhn is the current Vice President and will likely give talks on Sclerotherapy, Bands over 65, Strictures, and other topics.
