ANALTECH: HIGH QUALITY THIN LAYER CHROMATOGRAPHY PLATES

Analtech, Inc. is the only manufacturer of Thin Layer Chromatography Plates based in the U.S. and the company has been producing TLC plates longer than any other company on earth - since 1961.
Analtech is well known throughout the science community for high-quality TLC Plates, but in the past year the company has launched a new product, the XTRX Extraction Columns, and is now working in partnership with another Delaware BioScience Association member, Dr. David Fatunmbi of Separation Methods Technologies, to offer HPLC columns.
The company has received a considerable amount of attention this past year for producing what is being called the funniest chromatography video ever filmed - "The Adventures of Ana L'Tech." The video, inspired by Monty Python and starring several Delaware celebrities and members of the Delaware BioScience Association -and filmed by the Delaware Film Company - is being featured on web sites and blogs around the world.
Steven Miles, General Manager for Analtech, says the company has benefited greatly from membership in the Delaware BioScience Association.
"From the networking breakfasts to the member discounts to the educational opportunities, the Delaware BioScience Association has helped our company in multiple ways," Miles said.
Analtech is now exploring the world of electronic social media - which has already resulted in getting named to Pittcon's Advisory Council for Marketing and being featured in an NPR story on social media and the pharmaceutical industry.
