 Boxtops for Education NeededPlease turn in your Boxtops to the front office. It's an easy way to help earn extra money for the school. K-8 Corner November is here and we have many fun and exciting activities planned for the K-8 classrooms. We will be learning about the election process for our new CA Governor, recognizing the men and women who have fought for our freedom, and getting crafty with harvest art projects. Keep PVCS Clean and Green We want to keep litter out of our parking lot and YOU can help by using the receptacles for recycling and trash. Also, remember that PVCS is a NO SMOKING area. Thanks for helping us keep our school fresh and new!

See's Candy Fundraiser
Want to give a sweet treat to your favorite person? PVCS is sponsoring a See's Candy fundraiser from Nov 1-12. Candy will arrive by Dec in time for gift-giving. Please see your Supervisory Teacher to place an order or you can take an order form and collect orders from friends and family members.

Fresh & Easy Shop Night Fundraiser
Wednesday, Nov. 17, 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Shop at Fresh and Easy located @ 4131 Oceanside Blvd. Wednesday, Nov. 17 during this designated evening from 4:00-8:00 and help your school earn 5% of the store's total sales. If you would like to volunteer to work this event, please contact Lena Rumps @ ext. 117. Staff members will also be volunteering so come on out to Fresh & Easy, buy some groceries, and help your school with this fundraising event. We can't wait to see you there! *Please continue to turn in your Fresh & Easy receipts - for every $20.00 spent, PVCS earns $1.00. Thank you for your continued contribution.
Oliver! The Musical Field Trip, K-12
Who: Students and their parents
What: Oliver! Is the beloved musical based on the book, Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens. This performance will be given by the Coastkids Theatre whose members include Pacific View's own Savannah Tai.
Where: Star Theatre 402 N. Coast Highway Oceanside
When: Thursday, November 18 at 9 a.m.
Cost: $5 per person Prepay cash by Tuesday, November 16

Thanks to all the parents and students who follow the speed limit around PVCS and keep their radio at an appropriate volume. Please remember, the school is CLOSED at 4:00 and parents should make arrangements to have their students picked up no later than 4:00. We appreciate those families who help make PVCS a safe place for all students!

This scenic, oceanfront, community 5K Run/Walk helps promote healthy, active lifestyles for Oceanside's youth, while raising funds for participating schools. Five dollars ($5.00) of each designated race entry fee will be donated to the participant's Oceanside school of choice.
Salvation Army Food Drive
November 29-December10
This holiday season The Salvation Army will be assisting over 500 families in our area. Please consider helping your community through the work of The Salvation Army. You can drop off your food items in your teacher's office. Suggested food items to donate: Canned Vegetables, Macaroni & Cheese, Canned Meats, Instant Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Peanut Butter, Soups, Stuffing, Canned Fruit, etc. Thank you for your generous support!
Barnes & Noble Book-Fair
& Family Game Night
Friday, Dec. 3, 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Pacific View will be hosting game tables at the Oceanside Barnes & Noble Store (2615 Vista Way, Oceanside, CA) as part of our holiday bookfair on Friday, December 3rd from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. We will also be participating in manning the gift wrapping tables. Come on out, have fun at the game tables, get a treat from the cafe, or a book to snuggle in bed with on a chilly winter night. When you tell the cashier you are with Pacific View Charter School or present them with a voucher bearing our bookfair number (10317741)[between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.], a portion of your purchase will come back to the school to be used for much needed books and supplies. Hope to see you there!
