NuEnergy's Waste-to-Energy Project Gets Funding Commitment

NuEnergy has received a funding commitment for a $100MM waste-to-energy project to be located in NYC.  While funding is contingent upon further project due diligence, we expect to be in a position to commence construction in early 2011.  We are developing proposals for two other WTE projects in the Northeast US, as well as projects involving nearly 7,000 tons per day of waste in Ecuador

Memorandum of Understanding Signed to Develop Water Treatment Solutions

To strengthen our water treatment offerings, NuEnergy has entered into a strategic alliance with Ozone Water Systems (OWS).

Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona and in business since 1994, OWS has sold, designed, installed, and serviced ozone systems in municipal drinking water, municipal wastewater, bottled water plants, life support for aquariums, cooling towers, DI sterilization, clean-in-place systems for the semiconductor industry, food processing, theme park water rides, odor abatement and the motion picture industry.

Our initial focus will be on developing solutions for clients in Ecuador and on developing a patentable water treatment process for commercialization.

Setting up Business In Ecuador and Colombia

In Ecuador, from the northern region of Sucumbíos to the southern region of Milagro and west to Galapagos and, in Columbia, from Cali to Manizales along the beautiful Valle de Cacao, Dr. Guevara, Luz Mary Garcia and Paul Adams visited with government officials, local engineers and influential community members to promote NuEnergy's solutions in sustainable design, water treatment, waste-to-energy and energy efficiency.

NuEnergy

The results were quite favorable, with a number of projects now in the early stages of development in both countries.

While in Ecuador, in addition to the business related presentations, Dr. Guevara made several technical presentation to institutes of higher learning.  Two were made in Quito, to the "Escuela Politecnica Del Ejercito" (ESPE) and the "La Camara De La Construccion de Quito" and one in Guayaquil to the "Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles del Guayas". Greetings!

I have so much good news to share with you... I just returned from two weeks in Ecuador and Colombia, meeting with many leading senior business executives, federal and city officials and administrators, senior officers from various universities, and quite a few engineers, all in order to present and provide them with NuEnergy's wide ranging clean and sustainable energy solutions. NuEnergy has expanded its clean energy solutions and now offers a new and more powerful waste-to-energy (WTE) and water treatment (decontamination) program. As a result, we have received numerous official Letters of Intent and Commitment from regional municipalities in Colombia and throughout Ecuador.

Over the past quarter we have engaged new representatives in various Latin American countries. We have also formally incorporated NuEnergy in several countries, with offices now in Cali, Colombia; Quito, Ecuador, Cancun, México; and London, England.

Our funding is off the ground and we are poised to beef up our operations and infrastructure and, of course, speed up the development of our patents. As NuEnergy's chief scientist, I am particularly happy about that one!

I am also happy to announce that we have engaged and brought on a few incredibly competent and experienced individuals to co
ntribute to our dynamic growth and expansion. Besides Steve Sigal and me, and Rolando Alcover and Rolando "Jr.", as our long term stalwarts in Latin America, we now have some previously needed professional help!

Our expanded website is being built to reflect our new programs and personnel, and you'll see that very soon.

And last, but not least, we have received several Letters of Intent, and at least one major funding commitment. These are detailed in this newsletter.Contact me if you have any comments or questions!

Luz Mary GarciaTo support planned NuEnergy activities in Colombia, Ecuador, Europe and México, we have completed the incorporation of NuEnergy Colombia, NuEnergy Ecuador, NuEnergy UK and NuEnergy Mexico.

This is a strategic pre-requisite to securing the business opportunities available in Colombia, Ecuador and México.

NuEnergy UK will also serve as the base of operations for Europe and North Africa.

Agreement Signed to Co-Develop Boundary Layer Turbine

NuEnergy has signed a strategic alliance/development and marketing agreement with Statim Technologies LLC to co-develop and market a revolutionary Boundary Layer Turbine.

Statim is now teaming with NuEnergy in developing our new and revolutionary Mark III Boundary-Layer Turbine Pump and Engine. The plan is to integrate the new turbine with NuEnergy's waste to energy gasification system.

Revolutionary is an understatement in describing the Mark III. It is a total re-imagination of the boundary-layer turbine concept begun by Nikola Tesla in 1911. The Mark III utilizes our better and current understanding of physics and rotary dynamics plus space-age materials and innovations to finally make the Boundary-Layer Turbine efficient, stable, and commercially viable for the first time.

NuEnergy is working on this development with the support of Professor Ajit Achuthan from Clarkson University, under a grant received by NuEnergy from the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program (SATOP), a NASA sponsored Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA).NuEnergy

We believe that our new technology will allow the Mark III turbine to spin at speeds up to 120,000 rpm and generate previously only projected pressures and flows in the pump version and extremely efficient generation of electrical power in the engine-generator version.

The usefulness and applicability of this turbine to an energy-starved planet is immense. The design can be built from the size of a third of a loaf of bread to the size of large current power plant engines, depending on the output needed, but with a much smaller footprint and multiple magnitudes of greater efficiency than current pumps and engines, thereby truly capturing Mr. Tesla's dream of a "Power House in a hat."
